Can i get a pricing breakdown?
Determining how to price photography isn't easy! My prices are based on the amount of people in the photos, whether or not you are planning to bring props (cap/gown/stole/etc.), the amount of time spent at the session, travel time, and the time I spend editing your photos.
While we may only spend 30 minutes on location, what you aren't seeing are the hundreds of your photos I will look through, taking me on average 5 hours. Sometimes, to get one perfect photo, it takes 40 photos, which I have to individually dissect! I never want to provide someone with a product that isn't my best work, so the pricing is set on purpose to compensate me for the time spend both with you, and behind the scenes.
It's incredibly important to me that I provide my clients with price transparency, so please feel free to reach out to me with any additional questions.
Why do senior sessions cost more?
Senior sessions cost more for two main reasons:
- To accommodate for multiple locations and the time it takes to move between them
- The amount of props being used in the session
For #2, lots of things can go wrong with props. It could be windy, hot (sweat can show), there could be a wrinkle or a stain, and so many other things. The higher price-point for senior sessions ensures that the extra time I devote to making sure your photos are perfect- down to the details you wouldn't even notice- is properly compensated.
How do I pay?
An electronic invoice will be provided to you! I accept payment both through my invoice software (card and bank transfer) and through manual payments (cash, zelle, etc.)
How do I schedule a photoshoot?
To schedule a photoshoot, please fill out the contact form in the "booking" section of my website.
Following that, I will reach out to your preferred contact method to go over the details of our shoot in a questionairre. You will then be sent a contract, binding you to the details we discuss.
What if I have multiple locations?
All travel time between locations must be included in the chosen session's time limits. Larger travel times (over 30 minutes) will come with additional cost!
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes! I am able to travel, but additional travel fees will apply for travel longer than 30 minutes. Please see my pricing tab for more specific information!
How long will it take to get my photos?
Turnaround time is currently 1-2 weeks.
